TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Travel and accommodation expenses must be covered by the National Federations. All participants must hold a valid passport or identity card. Visa obligations must be respected. All riders and attendants must hold an insurance valid in Spain (European Union).
Nearest major airport in Spain: Barcelona – El Prat is located 300km from the MTB Ultramarathon European Championships venue. It’s 4h drive on highway A2 and national road N230 direction Vielha.
Nearest airports in France: Tarbes-Lourdes Pyreenes Airport is located 130km from Vielha, and it’s 2h drive on highway A64 and then national road N125 direction Spain.
Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is 170km away from Vielha. It’s 2h 20’ drive on highway A64 and then national road N125 direction Spain.
Nearest Railway in Spain: nearest high-speed railway station is Lleida-Pirineus, 180km drive on national road N230 direction Vielha.
Nearest Railway in France: nearest high-speed railway station is Montréjeau, 65km drive on national road N125 to Vielha, and where there is also a connection with bus to Luchon.

REGULATIONS
Art. 1
Organization
The 2020 UEC MTB Ultra Marathon European Championships will be organized on the 27th of June 2020

European Championships – UCI Category: 3
To be run under UCI and UEC regulations
Art. 2
Participation
The participation is open for the following categories:
– Elite Men
– Elite Women
– Masters Men 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70+
– Masters Women 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65+
Art. 3.1
Participation – NATIONAL TEAMS
The participation is open for European riders only.
National Federations may enter the following riders free of charge:
Women Elite – Men Elite
Max. 2 riders per nation / per category
The National Federations have to register their riders directly on the UEC website (www.uec.ch) from 1st of april.
Deadline for the registrations: (riders, staff and NF Official Delegates – 14th June 2020 (20:00h)
Riders must compete in their national jersey

The participation is open for European riders only.
Registrations will open in 9 of march.

The control of the licenses, clothing, registration of the participants and distribution of other documents shall be on Friday 26th June in Sala Polivalenta, Vielha

Art. 3.5
Body-numbers
The riders are obliged to use the body-numbers which will be supplied by the organization.

Start order
The start order will be made up applying UCI/UEC regulations.
Art. 4
Ceremony
It will be at 11.00am Sunday 28th June
We kindly ask the first 3 riders to be in time for the victory ceremony. Riders must present themselves in race clothing, wearing their race apparel and shall not wear a helmet, a cap a headband or glasses until they leave the podium ceremony area.
Art. 5
Antidoping control
The anti-doping controls will be under the responsibility of the Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF).
An official Communiqué will be distributed by the appointed DCO.

Results will be published on the UEC website: www.uec.ch
Art. 7
Program
The program and schedule can be changed on demand of the commissaires panel and the organization. The competition program will be daily announced on the notice-boards.

Unforeseen
In those events in which the regulations not supply, the commissaires panel, in conjunction with the organization, will decide.
